Senior / Lead QA Engineer

We’re partnering with an early-stage AI software company building complex agentic systems and operating at unusually high engineering velocity.

The team is looking for a senior QA leader who can help improve product quality across a large and fast-moving codebase, rather than simply adding more manual testing.

You’ll assess where defects are entering the system, identify the highest-value quality controls, improve automation and CI processes, and help engineering teams catch issues earlier in the development lifecycle.

The environment is highly technical, with significant automation, rapid release cycles and AI-driven systems. The hiring manager is looking for someone who can think strategically about quality while still being hands-on enough to implement and improve the underlying testing approach.

They’re ideally looking for around 7–15 years of QA / test engineering experience, with strong automation skills, experience working closely with software engineers, and the ability to operate as a senior individual contributor or quality leader.

Remote-first across the US. Compensation is flexible depending on experience.
